1.2 Spiritual Activity Data
- Quran Reading Progress: Verses you've read, reading sessions, and progress tracking
- Favorite Verses: Quran passages you mark as favorites
- Tasbih Counts: Your dhikr counter data and tasbih sessions
- Practice Mode Activity: Your engagement with practice reading features
- Session History: Records of your spiritual activities and unlock events
1.3 App Usage Data
- Installation Date: When you first installed the app
- Onboarding Completion: Whether and when you completed onboarding
- Session Information: Session duration, frequency of app opens, and time spent in the app
- Feature Usage: Which features you access (Quran reading, tasbih, prayer times, settings)
- Screen Time Interactions: Apps you've selected to lock and unlock events (this data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers)
- Daily Usage Patterns: App open frequency for retention tracking
- Subscription Information: Your subscription status, plan type (weekly/yearly), and subscription events
1.4 Device Information
- Device Type: The model of your device (e.g., iPhone 14)
- Operating System: iOS version you're using
- App Version: The version of Dhikr Lock you have installed
- Error Logs: Information about crashes or errors encountered

- Prayer Time Settings: Which prayer times you want to be notified about
- Notification Enablement: Whether you've enabled various notification types
- Progress Notification Preferences: Your settings for milestone and encouragement notifications

- Automatic Collection: Analytics data collected as you use the app
- Device Permissions: Data accessed through permissions you grant (location, notifications, Screen Time)
- iCloud Sync: If you enable iCloud synchronization, your app preferences and progress data sync across your Apple devices
3. How We Use Your Information

- Selected apps for Screen Time restrictions

If you enable iCloud sync:
- Your app settings and preferences are stored in your personal iCloud account
- We do not have access to your iCloud data; it is controlled by Apple's iCloud service
4.3 Analytics Storage
- Anonymous analytics data is transmitted to Firebase Analytics, a service provided by Google
- This data is retained according to Firebase Analytics' data retention policies
- We use this data to improve app functionality and user experience
4.4 Retention Period
We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy:
- Active Users: Data is retained while you actively use the app
- Inactive Users: Analytics data may be retained in anonymized, aggregated form for statistical purposes
- Deleted App: When you delete the app, locally stored data is removed from your device
- Account Deletion Requests: If you request data deletion, we will remove any identifiable data we control within 30 days

- Location data is used solely for prayer time calculations and is not stored on external servers

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may disclose your information only in the following limited circumstances:

- Deleting the app from your device (removes locally stored data)

- Location Services: Disable location access in your device settings (note: this will prevent prayer time calculations)
- Notifications: Disable notifications in the app settings or device settings
- Analytics: While we don't currently offer an opt-out for analytics, the data collected is anonymous and cannot be linked to your identity
- iCloud Sync: Disable iCloud sync in the app settings
8.5 Right to Data Portability
Your Quran reading progress, favorites, and session history are stored locally on your device and can be exported by enabling iCloud sync or by contacting us for assistance.
8.6 Right to Lodge a Complaint
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. International Data Transfers
Dhikr Lock is operated from the United Kingdom. If you use the app from outside the UK, your information may be transferred to and processed in the UK or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries that may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.
10. Children's Privacy
Dhikr Lock is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will:
- Delete the information immediately
- Terminate the child's access to the app
- Notify parents or guardians if possible

Some browsers and devices offer "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. We do not currently respond to DNT signals, as there is no industry standard for how to handle them. We collect minimal data necessary for app functionality and improvement.
